Sixty-four-year-old Clarendon pastor Leon Brown was killed on Monday afternoon and his wife seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash along the Clarendon Park Main Road.


The pastor was killed around 1:20 pm, after the Toyota Corolla he was driving slammed into a truck.

The pastor had just driven out of a gas station where he had stopped to buy petrol when the crash occurred.

It took a team from the Clarendon Fire Department more than half an hour to remove the couple from the mangled car..

Brown, the pastor of the Bethel Gospel Hall in Mocho died on the spot.

His wife has been hospitalised in serious condition.
