An arrest has been made in the incident where the beating of a policeman, allegedly by a woman, was caught on video last week in a St Catherine community.
The police did not divulge the name of the accused to The Star.
It was, however, revealed that charges of malicious destruction of property and assault occasioning bodily harm have been scheduled to be mentioned in July.
The case arose from an incident at the complainant’s home where he was attacked and beaten by the female along with other relatives.
His clothes were ripped from his body and the windscreen of his Toyota motor vehicle smashed.
A report was made to the police and following an investigation, the woman was held.
A search is now on for the others supposedly involved in the incident.
